Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-17
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on nisdesk.com. Cookies are small text files placed in your browser that allow you to be recognized on each visit to the site.
1. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies Always active
These cookies are essential for the core functions of the Service and cannot be disabled. They do not store personal information; they are only activated in response to browser settings such as session state.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Supabase | Authentication session | Session |
| sb-refresh-token | Supabase | Session renewal | 60 days |
Analytics Opt-in
NISDESK does not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or other third-party tracking cookies. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we record a small set of product usage events (e.g. page views and a small set of feature interactions) directly to our own servers — not via a tracking cookie. Events may be linked to your account id while you are signed in; event properties never include email addresses, free-form notes, document contents, or URLs. These events are used only in aggregate to understand product usage and are never sold or shared with advertisers. Usage events are deleted after 90 days. Nothing is recorded until you accept; choosing “Essential only” keeps this fully off, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
Marketing / Advertising Cookies Not used
No data is shared with advertising networks. The platform contains no retargeting pixels.
2. Cookie Consent and Management
Strictly necessary cookies are technically required for the functionality of the Service and are used without your consent under the GDPR legal bases of legitimate interest / performance of a contract (the Article 5 exemption of the ePrivacy Directive — “strictly necessary”).
Analytics preference
Current choice: Not chosen
Analytics is opt-in: the banner shown on your first visit lets you choose “Accept analytics” or “Essential only.” Your choice is stored in your browser and respected on every subsequent visit; no analytics event is sent before you accept.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you delete strictly necessary cookies from your browser, sign-in functionality may be affected.
