NISDESK is a decision-support platform designed to help SMEs assess their compliance requirements under the NIS2 Directive and DORA (the Digital Operational Resilience Act) in a self-serve manner. The platform provides scope checks, readiness assessment tools, guidance content, and compliance tracking tools.

• You must create an account with a valid email address to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the security of your account; do not share your password with anyone.
• You may use your account only for assessments relating to your own organization.
• If you register on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms.
• Each user may create only one account.

4. Unacceptable Use

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Gaining unauthorized access to the platform or attempting to circumvent security measures.
• Reselling or sublicensing the Service to third parties, whether paid or free of charge.
• Bulk data extraction using automated tools (bots, scrapers).
• Creating assessments by entering false or misleading information.
• Using the platform for unlawful activities.
• Gaining unauthorized access to other users' data.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, software, and methodology on the platform are owned by or licensed to [COMPANY NAME]. Your individual assessment results and the data you upload remain yours; however, by uploading content to the platform you grant us permission to process that content for the purpose of providing the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• No warranty, express or implied, is given as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the platform's outputs.
• We are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from decisions made in reliance on assessment results.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will operate without interruption or error.
• In any event, our liability is limited to the total subscription payments you made in the preceding 12 months.

7. Changes to the Service and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or closed without prior warning.

You may close your account at any time. Simply write to support@nisdesk.com. Upon account closure, your data is deleted within 30 days.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are interpreted under European Union law. Disputes between the parties will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the courts of Estonia shall have jurisdiction (this clause will be updated once company registration is complete).

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
